Operation
HASTINGS
Rest
in Peace, Brother
You died doing what you wanted to be, a Marine. After 35 years, I
have found out what happened to you. On that terrible day on Hill
362, you risked and lost your own life saving other Marines. You are
a hero in my heart and I will make sure as many people in this world
will know you are a hero, too. I love you, Tink. We all miss you terribly.~Dave

The
man I never met
I
knew all my life that there was someone in my family that had died
in Vietnam War. The only thing that I knew about him was what I saw
on my Grandma's walls when I went to visit her. I always had this
feeling that I needed to know more, but I could never ask. Recently
upon my requests my Grandma cleaned out her closet. Along with many
other things she found pictures from Tink during Vietnam. She asked
that I give them to my dad and see if he could find any of them. I
knew my dad was going to need a little motivation, so I started working
on it when I moved in with him. I have found out a lot of things,
and now I feel that I have some closure to this.~Bonnie Arnold
