Operation
HOUSTON

A
Fine Marine
I served with "Medivac
Mike" from Dec. 1967 to Jan. 1969. I was an 0331 gunner the entire
time. The two names I remember very well are, William Medford Pangle,
born, 9-22-1948, died in Nam at the age of 19. He was a member of my
gun team. The same night he was killed my other team member, William
(Bill) Svoboda was wounded and evaced. Bill Svoboda and I got together
for another six months, then he was sent home for family matters. I
hope he's well. William
Pangle was a fine Marine, and died with dignity. He's one of the names
I won't forget.
