Remembering
my cousin, James Wood
I am
trying to ensure that the sacrifice of my first cousin, LCpl. James
Edwin Wood, does not go unrecognized. James served in Vietnam with I
Co. 3/5 from Nov. 16, 1966 until June 2, 1967 when he was killed on
Operation Union II. His example meant a lot to me and I believe was
the primary motivation for my 26 years of active Army service. Please
review the attached documents (Bronze Star Citation for Operation UNION
and hometown news article reporting his death), and post accordingly.
I would appreciate it greatly.~James Rogers, CW4, USA (Ret)
