Tom Uebel in Hawaii

Tommy Uebel was with me in Hawaii, and in the same platoon, except that he was with first squad. He had come back from the hospital after being treated for malaria the day Craig Ward was killed. Tom Uebel was the Marine who saved my life in Viet Nam, but never got his Bronze Star for heroism.
